As
i was finishing high school, i had absolutely no idea what i would do for a
living.
Seeing some short of skills with my hands,
my family and particulary my aunt, who was in the business, prompt me to study
graphic design and i accepted.
I studied first at a classical school of
Arts (Vacalo) and then, seeing the change that was taking place towards
computers, i continued my studies and took my degree in computer graphics
design.
I worked in three multinational companies
as a computer graphics designer for 5 years and one fine day... i resigned! What
was realy frustrating for me wasn't the uncountable hours that i had to work
but the feeling that i wasn't doing what i was supposed to. I couldn't
understand what was the usefulness of my work.
Not having the slightest idea what to do
next, i finished my studies in english, took the highest degree in Greece (proficiency),
took a job as an english instructor and helped my father in order to make some
money (he was a plumber contractor)!
As i was searching, the information came
to my door.
I knew i had to do something with my
hands, i was feeling that this was my skill. A friend of my mother's had a book
with all the allternative medicine professions. You see, i am a child of
homeopathy since i was 15 years old and with an innate affection towards
anything natural. At that time, the name of reflexology was starting to show
up. I searched and found two schools. I met Efrosini Stravelaki and her school
and i felt that i had finally found what i was looking for.
I never regret it. Reflexology has given
me more than i have ever given to her!
My studies never stopped. I keep evolving
ever since. I take part in congresses and seminars in Greece and abroad
(England). I studied aromatherapy and read many books on accupancture and
osteopathy, combining this knowledge with reflexology in order to have a faster
effect on pain.
I am a member in many reflexology groups
all over the world, i participate in our community and i get informed of
anything new on our field.
Since 2003 i am a reflexologist and i
serve my art and the people that need empowerment, relaxation or awakening of
consciousness!
I live and work since 2004 in Corinth,
were i have my office.
I remained a reflexologist for 17 years. I
grew up alongside with her! After all these years, i feel that reflexology
changed my life and led me to knowledge, love and self-actualization.
